Manicurists are a highly regarded group of individuals whose work is integral to the success of any salon. Our graduates are prepared for the profitable field of manicuring and for passing the California State Board licensing exam.
American Beauty Institute has devised a curriculum that will assist you in achieving your goals by preparing you, both practically and theoretically, in a professional environment. Everything from basic manicure, pedicure, sanitation and sterilization procedures to nail care, nail grooming, basic nail artistry, artificial nails and silk treatments, is carefully and methodically taught.

Basic Manicuring.
Everything from basic manicure and pedicure techniques to the essential sanitation and sterilization procedures required for a safe salon environment.
Nail Artistry.
Developing your creativity through basic nail artistry, color theory, and advanced design techniques that set your work apart.
Artificial Nails.
Mastering artificial nails, silk treatments, and sculpted enhancements. The technical skills that drive high-ticket salon services.
Clinic Experience.
Supervised experience with the public in a large, active clinic. Learn to manage clients and timing in a real-world setting.
Career Prep.
Preparation for the California State Board licensing exam and the business practices needed to run a profitable nail business.
Industry Insight.
